N727RT Progress Summary:  Jun 2006  .

THE ENGINE: After some research and several discussions with various folks regarding the engine I purchased, I decided to remove the cylinders for a cursory inspection.  While disassembled, I changed/upgraded the cylinders (venturi value seats) , installed ceramic coated pistons, readjusted the values, and swapped the turbos for a custom/special set with a larger A/R ratios to facilitate sealing the sonic nozzels that are otherwise only needed for pressurization.  The work was done under the supervision of Mike Moore at his shop (Avworks) in Charlotte NC.
